We prepare all the materials required for the I.R.S. approval process and work in consultation with your other professional advisors. We provide help with employee communication and perform preliminary non-discrimination testing.

Plan Termination

Complete Plan termination services are available including the required calculations, statutory filings and employee communications. We will work with you to design a successor plan that better reflects your current business interests.

Employer/Employee Communication

Our services include the design of employee surveys, as well as meetings with your employees to explain your Plan and answer their questions. We will oversee your enrollment, customize your administrative procedures, and provide a Summary Plan Description.

Plan Corrections – Qualified Plans, including Simplified Employee Pensions (SEP) and SIMPLE-IRA's

Correcting mistakes voluntarily is generally far less expensive than the corrections/penalties imposed if errors are discovered upon audit!

As with any Employee Benefit Program, mistakes can occur. Fortunately, the IRS and the DOL have a variety of programs/methods available, depending upon the type of mistake and the timing of the correction. These range from very simple to complex corrections. Our administrative and technical staff have received the IRS Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) designation. This allows them to represent you, if necessary, for various IRS correction programs. Most errors can be "self-corrected" – and we can assist you with determining and implementing the appropriate plan correction. We are available to do this on a consulting basis, even if we are not contracted with you for normal Plan Administrative Services.
